Everything Your Business Needs, Under One Roof

Most small business owners are working with two or three different vendors who don't speak to each other: one person for bookkeeping, another for taxes, maybe a payroll service somewhere in the middle. Things get missed. Deductions get left on the table. The bill in April is bigger than it needed to be.

Freedom Tax Assist is built differently. The same licensed tax pro who keeps your books prepares your return, plans your quarterlies, and handles the IRS work if a letter shows up. One practice, one point of contact, one set of numbers everyone is working from.

What We Do

  • Icon of a hexagon with a person symbol inside, depicted with blue outlines and a light blue fill.

    Individual Tax Preparation

For W-2 earners, self-employed filers, and anyone with a Schedule C.

Whether you're filing a straightforward 1040, juggling W-2 income alongside a side business, or running a sole proprietorship that needs a Schedule C, individual tax preparation is the foundation of what Freedom Tax Assist does. Returns are prepared accurately, filed electronically, and reviewed with you on a video call before anything is filed.

    What's included:

    • Federal and state return preparation

    • Schedule C for self-employed income

    • Electronic filing

    • Video walkthrough of your return before filing

    Starting at: $225 for Form 1040 · $425 with Schedule C

  • A stylized illustration of a blue backpack with a front pocket on a black background.

    Business Tax Preparation

For LLCs, S-Corps, partnerships, and C-Corps.

Business entity returns are not a place to cut corners. Whether you're filing an 1120S for your S-Corp, an 1120 for a C-Corp, or a 1065 for a partnership, the return needs to be filed accurately, on time, and with the strategy decisions (entity elections, owner compensation, basis tracking) handled correctly throughout the year, not patched together in April.

    What's included:

    • 1120S (S-Corp), 1120 (C-Corp), and 1065 (Partnership) return preparation

    • K-1 preparation for partners and shareholders

    • Coordination with your individual return so the numbers line up

    • Video walkthrough of your return before filing

Starting at: $800. Final pricing depends on the forms your situation requires.

    Bookkeeping

Monthly bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online, integrated with your tax prep.

Bookkeeping that isn't connected to your return tends to drift. Categories get inconsistent. Reconciliations get skipped. And by the time tax season arrives, the books need a six-month cleanup before they can support an accurate return. Freedom Tax Assist does bookkeeping the way it was meant to work: monthly, reconciled, and built by the same person preparing your taxes.

    What's included:

    • Monthly transaction categorization

    • Bank and credit card reconciliation

    • QuickBooks Online subscription included in monthly plans

    • Books built specifically to support your tax return

A note on standalone bookkeeping: Freedom Tax Assist doesn't offer bookkeeping as a standalone service. Bookkeeping is included in the monthly plans (Standard, Mid-Tier, Premium) or available as an add-on when you're also filing your return with us. The reason: when bookkeeping and tax prep are split across vendors, the deductions you've earned often don't make it onto your return.

    Tax Planning & Business Consulting

For business owners who want strategy, not just compliance.

Tax planning is the difference between filing a return and managing a tax bill. Entity structure (LLC vs. S-Corp), owner compensation, retirement plan setup, S-Corp elections, quarterly estimates, year-end moves: these are decisions that change what you owe, sometimes by five figures. Strategy happens before the year ends, not after.

    What's included:

    • Entity structure analysis (LLC vs. S-Corp election)

    • Quarterly tax estimate planning

    • Owner compensation and distribution strategy

    • Year-end tax planning sessions

    • General business consulting (billed hourly)

Pricing: $225/hour, billed in one-hour blocks. Included as part of the Premium monthly plan.

  • Icon of a checklist with two checked items, outlined in blue.

    Tax Resolution

For when something's already gone wrong with the IRS.

Tax resolution is for clients who haven't filed in a few years, have received an IRS notice, are facing back taxes, or are dealing with an audit. Brandon can sign a power of attorney and contact the IRS on your behalf, so the letters stop landing in your inbox and the conversation moves to someone trained to have it.

    What's included:

    • Back-tax filings (multiple years caught up)

    • IRS notice review and response

    • Power of attorney representation for resolution work

    • Coordination with the IRS on the client's behalf

Pricing: Custom. Resolution work depends on the situation. Quoted on the consultation call.

What Our Clients Are Saying

We've sat with new business owners staring at a shoebox of receipts, a QuickBooks file they don't trust, and a tax bill they didn't see coming. Nobody should have to learn the tax code to run their company. That's the part we carry for you.

Freedom Tax Assist was built specifically for service-based business owners who want a real, licensed tax pro without a 1990s in-person process. Everything runs through a secure client portal. You upload documents from your phone or desktop, sign electronically, and review your return on a video walkthrough where we explain exactly where the savings came from.

Your Tax Questions, Answered

Blue speech bubble with a large question mark inside.
  • Five core services: individual tax preparation, business tax preparation (for S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships), monthly bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online, tax planning and business consulting, and tax resolution work for clients dealing with back taxes or IRS notices.

  • No. Bookkeeping is included in the monthly plans and available as an add-on when Freedom Tax Assist is also preparing your tax return. Standalone bookkeeping isn't offered. The reason: when bookkeeping and tax prep are done by different people, the deductions earned in the books often don't make it onto the return.

  • Business entity returns (1065 partnerships, 1120S S-Corps, 1120 C-Corps) start at $800. Final pricing depends on the specific forms your business requires, and you'll get an exact quote on the free consultation call.

  • The monthly plans bundle bookkeeping, your QuickBooks Online subscription, and your annual return into one flat monthly payment. A la carte is for people who just need a return filed this year or a few hours of consulting, without ongoing bookkeeping.

  • No. The firm is based in Phoenix but works fully remote. Document upload, e-signature, and return review all happen through a secure client portal, so clients anywhere in the U.S. can work with us the same way Phoenix clients do.

  • Full-service payroll processing is included in the Mid-Tier and Premium monthly plans. It's not offered as a standalone service or as part of a la carte engagements.
